Applications with detailed biotdata along with attested copies of certificates are invited from the eligible candidates for the appointment of Research Assistant in the ICMR sponsored project on “Characterization of molecular players in sperm- Escherichia coli interactions with an aim to develop monoclonally derived receptor clones as a vaginal contraceptive” (Duration for 1 year extendable upto 3 years). Applications should reach the undersigned by 15 March, 2009.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ other life sciences subjects with minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Qualifications: NET/GATE cleared. Candidates will be preferred with research and practical experience of handling experimental animals along with the knowledge of immunological techniques and computers.

Stipend: Rs. 9,850 /- p.m.
