(J.R.F Position In Experimental Nuclear Physics) Applications are invited for the position of a JRF/Project fellow in Experimental Nuclear Physics
to work in the IUAC (NSC) research project entitled “anomalous deviation from statistical evaporation spectra”. The aim of the project is to understand nuclear reaction dynamics involving medium and heavy nuclei. The experiments will be performed using the experimental facilities (i.g. HIRA, Neutron array and various kind of detection systems) available at Inter University Accelerator centre (IUAC), New Delhi. Job Requirements


1. To bring tools, instruments, accessories to the Laboratory tables or work benches or machines for conduct of practical demonstration/experiments during training programme.

2. To take care of the Laboratory/workshop equipments, instruments and tools and carry out sample technical operations after necessary training.

3. To help in sorting out and arranging duplicated print material.

4. To arrange and supervise transportation of equipment and other relevant etc from and to the Department as and when necessary. However, the shifting of equipment/material within the department will be done by the Lab. Attendants/peon/sweepers and other employees of the department.

5. To maintain cleanliness of teaching and research labs./workshops and equipment lying anywhere in the department. The above includes cleaning of work benches/tables, window-panes of the labs. and workshops.

6.To ensure that the sweepers and cleaners attend to the cleaning duties in respect of the floors, drains etc. of the assigned labs./areas.

7. To perform any other incidental duty assigned by the Chairman from time to time.

Desirable Job Requirements


1. To handle experimental animals, radioisotopes, PH. Meter, Microscopes and spectrophotometer etc.

2. To operate computer with regard to the entry of data.

3. To make solutions and prepare slides for the practical classes.

Age Limit
Not less than 18 years and more than 35 years as on the closing date prescribed for receipt of applications. Relaxation in upper age will be given as per University Rules.
