OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Filling up of the posts of Accountant in the Ministry of Women and Child Development on deputation basis.


The undersigned is directed to say that two posts of Accountant are to be filled up on deputation basis in the scale of pay of PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800+4200 Grade Pay (Rs.5500-175-9000 pre-revised) in the Ministry of Women and Child Development. The post of Accountant belongs to the General Central Services, Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial. The pay of the selected candidate will be regulated in accordance with the Ministry of Finance O.M. No. 2/29/91-Estt.Pay (II), dated 5.1.1 994, as amended from time to time; and the period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same Organisation/ Department, shall not ordinarily exceed three years. Eligibility for appointment to the post is indicated in Annexure-I.

2. It is requested that the applications of the eligible candidates, in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II), may be forwarded to “The Under Secretary (Admn), Ministry of Women and Child Development, Room No. 619, ‘A’ Wing, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi-110001 within forty five days from the date of publication of the vacancy in the Employment News. While forwarding the applications, the following information/certificates in respect of the applicants should also be furnished:

(i) Integrity Certificate;
(ii) Vigilance clearance;
(iii) Attested photocopies of Annual Confidential Reports for the preceding five years; and Certificate showing minor/major penalties imposed on the officer during the last 10 years.

2. The candidate once selected will not be allowed to withdraw the candidature under any circumstances.

Eligibility for the post of Accountant :

(i) Assistants of the Central Secretariat Service with 5 years’ service in the grade; or with 10 years’ combined service in the grades of Assistant/UDC; or UDCs of CSCS with 10 years’ service in the grade, who have undergone training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and possess 3 years’ experience of Cash and Accounts and budget work.

(ii) Failing (i) above, officers under the Central Government holding analogous posts or SAS passed clerks from any of the Organised Accounts Departments.
