Inviting applications from qualified and talented employees of 9 Units and Corporate Office of SPMCIL having potential for appointment to the junior most post of Executives at the level of E-1 in the HR department of the Corporate Office through the process of internal recruitment.

1. It is the commitment of SPMCIL Management at the apex level to give an opportunity to the talented and qualified employees of the Company having potential to be appointed as an executive in the HR department to be placed in the Corporate Office at E-1 level of Executive Cadre in the pay scale of Rs.7500-12000/- which has since been revised to pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade pay of Rs.4800/-

2. With the above objective in the mind and consequent upon the en-mass transfer of Government employees of Mints/Presses/Paper Mill to the rolls of the Company w.e.f. 01.11.2008, applications are hereby invited from the eligible employees of all the 9 Units and the Corporate Office working under the umbrella of SPMCIL for recruitment to the junior most executive cadre in the level of E-1.

3. Employees so recruited through the internal process shall be a part of Corporate HR and entrusted with the responsibility to look after the gamut of HR functions like Performance Appraisal, Compensation Management, Training & Development, Employee Relations, Personnel Services, Administration and Employee related legal matters.

4. This recruitment exercise has been undertaken by the Corporate Office to identify the qualified employees in the supervisory and nonexecutive cadre having potential to be appointed as a junior most executive in the Company at the level of E-1 and hence no age restriction is prescribed, however, it is expected that the incumbent should have at least minimum 5 years of clear service left for superannuation.

5. Mere fulfillment of requirement as laid down in the advertisement does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Screening may be done for short-listing the number of candidates to be called for interview. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

6. SPMCIL Management reserves the right to fill up all the posts or alter the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment, without assigning any reasons thereof.

7. It may please be noted that the candidates recruited for the above post are liable to be transferred to any of the Units depending upon exigencies of work.

8. It may also be noted that the Company is under obligation to the IDA pattern of pay scales as applicable to the pubic enterprises. It shall also applicable to the candidates recruited through this process of internal recruitment.

9. All the General Manager’s and HOD’s are requested to circulate vacancies of 3 HR executives mentioned above in their respective units and forward the applications to the Corporate Office on or before 14.04.2009 along with the candidate’s grading of ACRs for the previous 3 years and Integrity & Vigilance Clearance, which should enable the Corporate Office to complete the process of recruitment before 30.04.2009, so that the selected candidates can report for duty in the Corporate Office on 01.05.2009.

10. No application should be forwarded in respect of the employees against whom disciplinary proceedings or vigilance case is pending or being contemplated.

Qualification:

For the post of Officer (HR) and Officer (Admn) :

a.) The candidate should possess a Graduate Degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications.

b.) He should possess 2 years full time post graduate degree / diploma in PM/IR/ MSW / full time MBA or MBA through a Central Open University.

For the post of Officer (Legal) :

a.) The candidate should possess a Graduate Degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications.

b.) He should possess full time LLB degree from a reputed & recognized Law College.
