Applications are invited for a temporary (likely to continue) post of Assistant Director in the pay scale of 8000-275-13500+allowances in the Population Research Centre, Department of Sociology, so as to reach by registered post to the Finance and Development Officer, Panjab University, Chandigarh by April 30, 2009.

QUALIFICATIONS: At least Second Class Post Graduate Degree in Demography/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics.

EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience in teaching/ research in Population Studies/ Demography/ Conducting of Socio-Economic/ Demography Surveys, Computer Knowledge will be
(Desirable).
