Applications are invited for one temporary post of “Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate” in the CSIR sponsored project on or before April 2, 2009.

Title: “Synthesis and Characterization of Hydrophillic-b-Hydrophobic-b-Hydrophillic Tri-Block Copolymers through Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization”.

Duration: 3Years

Essential qualifications:

For JRF: MSc. in Chemistry, with minimum 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test. NET qualified candidates under i) JRF and ii) Lecturership (NET) categories can be applied to this. Non-NET or non-GATE qualified candidates can not be appointed as JRF as per CSIR guidelines.

For SRF: The NET/GATE qualified candidates having a minimum of 2 years of research experience after M.Sc. or equivalent degree are eligible to apply. Non-NET/GATE qualified can also apply but they should have M.Sc. in Chemistry with two years training in methods of research and aptitude for research assessed from publications in peer reviewed journals.

For RA: Ph.D. in Chemistry.

The eligible candidates will be interviewed by a Board consisting of the PI, Head of the Department and an external member. The suitable candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid.
