Candidates are invited for a walk in Interview on 17th Feb., 2009 at 9.30 AM Indian Council of Medical Research, V. Ramalingaswamy Bhawan, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi - 110029 with CV on plain paper for the following purely temporary posts for the different Project under Dr. K. Satyanarayana, Chief (P&I).

(1) Research Associate (One)

Qualifications:

Essential : Ph. D in any field of Life Sciences/ Biological Sciences.
Salary: Rs. 18,000/- p.m. plus HRA

Desirable : Three years post doctoral experience. Knowledge of IT and computer.

Age: 40 years (as on 31.3.2009). Two years relaxation for female candidates.

Job requirement: The selected candidate will work in the editorial section of the Indian Journal of Medical Research. They will be associated with the Journal and among other assignments, will help in the digitalization and indexing of the journal.

If suitable candidates are not found for RA, the post will be down graded to SRF (Rs. 14,000/- p.m. plus HRA)

(2) Sr. Research Fellow –(one)

Qualifications:

Essential : Master Degree in Life Sciences with at least 2 years experience in research and/or IPR related work.

Desirable: 2 years experience (i) in handling the data on biological patents and (ii) Knowledge of using of patent data bases.

Age: Upto 35 years (as on 31.3.2009)

Job Requirement: The selected candidates shall work in the Intellectual
Property Rights Unit of the ICMR.

Salary: 14,000/- pm. Plus HRA
