Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow at Dept. of Atmospheric & Space Sciences - University of Pune

Applications are invited on a plain paper for the following positions on project funded by Space Applications Center (Department of Space, Government of India) entitled on “Study of Somali Jet Using INSAT and other Satellite derived products”.

JRF- Junior Research Fellow: (One post) @ Rs. 12,000/- p.m. + 15% HRA

Qualification:
M.Sc. with 55% marks (or 5.5 GPA on a 10 point scale or 4 GPA
on a 6 point scale) in Physics, Atmospheric Science, or Space Sciences and
should have qualified NET/SET/GATE.

M.Sc. Students without NET/SET/GATE should have passed M.Sc. with 60% marks (or 6.0 GPA on a 10 point scale or 4.5 GPA on a 6 point scale) M.Tech. with 60% (or 6 GPA on a 10 point scale or 4.5 on a 6 point scale) in Atmospheric Science (Two year course after M.Sc.).

Duration of the Project: Three Years from the starting date of the project.
