Project Position

Applications are invited for the post of one JRF/SRF from candidates with first class marks in M. Sc. (Organic Chem.)/M. S. (Pharm.) (Medicinal Chem.)/M. Pharm. (Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chem.) with GATE/NET qualification to work on DST funded project “Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of novel heterocyclic ligands as phosphodiesterase IV inhibitors” [P.I.: Dr. Asit K. Chakraborti, Professor and Head, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, NIPER, S. A. S. Nagar]. The duration of the project is for three years. Based on the eligibility and performance on the interview, the selected candidate will be offered the appointment of JRF/SRF with salaries and other benefits as per terms and conditions of the project [e.g., for SRF: Salary @ Rs. 14,000/- pm + HRA] for an initial period of one year and extension for subsequent year(s) based on performance. The application accompanied by a detailed CV, photocopies of all relevant mark sheets/certificates, and a DD of Rs. 100/- (Rs. 50/- in case of SC/ST) issued against the name of Director, NIPER, S. A. Executive Director required by C-DAC Mohali

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)

Applications are invited for the post of Executive Director for Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) at Mohali in the pay scale of Rs.18400-500-22400 (with allowances as per Central Govt. Rules) and it is proposed to be filled by Direct Recruitment/Transfer (absorption) basis.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate leadership in institution building, mentoring teams to undertake high quality R&D and deliver technologies, IP, products and solutions directly or through Partnership of great value and uniqueness to the target users. Besides, working in conjunction with other centres of C-DAC spread across India and functioning, they as Board Members of C-DAC, strengthen the larger organization to emerge as a cohesive national entity of greater repute in the country and abroad.

Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience -

Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications from a recognized University with 20 years of experience in the relevant area.

Or

Post-Graduate Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications from a recognized University with 15 years of experience in the relevant area.

Or

A Doctorate (Ph.D) in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications from a recognized University with 10 years of experience in the relevant area.
